Welcome To Our Family

Welcome to our dental family at Smile Palatine! We are excited to help you achieve and maintain a healthy, beautiful smile. Our goal is to educate you on your dental disease and help you understand options for treatment, as well as maintenance for your future dental health.

What to Expect

Your first visit as a new patient will consist of x-rays of all your teeth, and an examination by one of our experienced dentists to evaluate your current state of disease. We will then present an individualized treatment plan to restore and maintain your dental health. Your individualized plan is based on your current oral and systemic health, your chief concerns, your motivations, and aesthetic desires for your smile.

Your treatment may or may not be able to begin on your first visit, depending on your particular circumstance. It is important to understand your options and make an informed and thoughtful decision on what treatment is right for you.

Commonly Asked Questions

A small collection of frequently asked questions.

How do I keep my teeth healthy?

Simple! Choose us to be part of your oral healthcare team. It is a common misconception that people are born with bad teeth. For most individuals twice yearly routine cleanings and examinations can help you keep your teeth for a lifetime. After you tell us what your oral health goals are, we help create a treatment plan for you to achieve it. Our goal at Smile Palatine is to help keep you smiling and pain free all year long.

When to arrive for my appointment?

Please arrive 5-10 minutes early for your appointment. If we can see you a few minutes earlier, we will so that you can go enjoy the rest of your day sooner. If you arrive late, all treatment planned for that day may not be able to be completed. We understand more trips to the dentist is not what you want. Feel free to call us if you need to know when your scheduled appointment is, or we are happy to move around your appointment if you are not able to make it. Please give us as much notice as possible so that we may get another patient scheduled that may be in pain.

What to do if I need medication?

A prescription for medication will be written after an examination or procedure if the doctor deems necessary for your specific situation. If the pharmacy has not received the prescription, or you feel that you need additional medication or attention, do not hesitate to call our office. We are happy to help you with your dental needs and post-operative pain while you are healing.
